Festivals
Sally-Anne has been writing for a few years now, she is such a wonderment and I am sure soon will be much more well known.
Her psychological thrillers are exquisite she has en-captured nuance and noir perfectly. They are set around where we live and are miniature vignettes of social and mental decay. Her 3rd is with a real proper agent after 2 self published, because she really didn't know what I do about the timing of things. We work closely now and it is going in a seriously good direction... DO watch the newsfeeds...
But, the exciting thing is... We both joined the Society for Storytelling and have worked ever so hard on our presentations...
We have done numerous schools and libraries and now it's FESTIVALS!
We are starting with a small one in Hightown, the local community is so together, they have all sorts planned and we are doing 2 sessions 1-2pm and 3-4pm in the PUB! which is also the library... It's right by the station from Liverpool-Southport... It is Saturday 21st April so be quick to see if you can come...
Then Saturday May 12th 1-3 pm we are Live outside the Atkinson in Southport for their BIG Arts Festival, we are doing a brand new interactive show with Errant Tigers, Sea Witches, A Mischievous Monkey from Indonesia and Inuits...it will be such fun.
There is a lot else going on, so well worth a trip.
July we are doing 2 days for the Walton Village Festival just off Queens Drive Sat and Sun 14/15th JULY
This will be performances throughout both days and again we may write a new show...
We are committed to offering the best we possibly can, based on Sally-Anne's own writing and travels and my interpretations of stories I have acquired and a few I'm now writing too.
We would love to be able to come and do events for you and are willing to travel and stay over if needs be, obviously we do need to discuss fees, but we are not greedy, we want to do what we love doing, we don't want to be too expensive so that we can't perform either...
The recommended rate from the Society is £250 a day but you get two of us! It equates to £35 an hour/show if travel is within commute.
